Documenting This Moment
The Thomas County Chronicles COVID project is a joint initiative between the Thomasville History Center, The Jack Hadley Black History Museum, Pebble Hill Plantation, Thomasville Center for the Arts, and the Thomas County Public Library system.
As we all work through these very troubling times and try to keep our personal and professional lives in order during the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to provide an avenue for our community to collect, share, and document the stories surrounding this event. We hope this will also provide future generations with documentation that will show how our community endured this time in our history.
Thomas County Chronicles COVID invites you to help us chronicle your experience through observations, documents, and works of art as they relate to COVID-19.
The Thomasville History Center will house the collected materials, but they will be shared collectively with all of our partners and made available for researchers once they are processed and catalogued.

Planning for the Future
With time comes historical and emotional perspective. We believe that this moment in our community's story will be a subject of study and commemoration in the years to come. Your participation ensures that your voice, experiences, and artistic expressions are a vital thread in the fabric of this moment's larger story. It is our hope that this program will inspire reflection and introspection and provide a meaningful way for us as individuals and a community to process the upheaval and uncertainty.
